Coming from the lands of Morimondo and raising his eyes to heaven near Ozzero, in the horizon you will notice the white polygonal tower of the Castle. The word Castle is improper, even if used by the residents, because in fact it is the Bianchi Calvi Villa.
Its origin is ancient and certainly before 1034, the year in which it is inserted in the will of Aribert of Intimiano Archbishop, and over time it has undergone many changes. The Castle, of Visconti origin, is situated on a slope overlooking the village. You can still see some traces of the quadrangular fornification plans present in the fourthies century building built by the Visconti.
In later centuries, failing the defensive needs that had originated, it became a residential building in Baroque style with a large courtyard and an arcade. The villa is now privately owned and therefore not open to visitors. But sometimes, for example on the occasion of the Castle Choirs or in the FAI days, the building is open to the public.
